Biopharma Technology

The Biopharma Technology working group focuses on bringing together academics and industry professionals to share knowledge and experience in the field of biopharmaceutical process technology. Within this framework, both production in the bioreactor (upstream) and purification (downstream) are discussed, with the aim of learning from various biopharmaceutical production processes, including mRNA vaccines, therapeutic proteins, and cell/gene therapies. As a working group, we facilitate this interaction by chairing a session at the annual NBC conference on the aforementioned topics and organizing an annual evening symposium followed by a networking event.
