Located in the heart of the Food Valley region, NIZO is a leading test institute and pilot plant supporting innovation in the food technology sector. With advanced downstream processing equipment and expertise in the alternative protein industry, NIZO plays an important role in helping companies scale their technologies. NIZO’s campus will soon welcome the Biotechnology Fermentation Factory (BFF)—a new facility where precision fermentation companies can develop and scale up their innovations. The visit will begin with an introduction to NIZO and BFF, followed by a guided tour of the facility. After the tour, you'll take part in interactive workshops designed to challenge your skills in process design and novel food technologies. We’ll conclude the day with a relaxed networking drink at pub Substitute”
NIZO is located 13 minutes from the Ede-Wageningen train station by bike. The best way to get there is by renting a public transport bike (OV-fiets) at station Ede-Wageningen if car is no option.
