BUILDING CONNECTIONS: Fostering synbio collaborations in the Netherlands

On the 14th of June, the second annual SynBioNL event will take place! This year's theme is BUILDING CONNECTIONS: Fostering synbio collaborations in the Netherlands, and the programme will revolve around synthetic biology collaborations within and between academia, governance and industry. How do you set up a consortium between different synthetic biology labs? How can synthetic biology and governance work together to enable SynBio innovations? How do you find an industry partner, or set up your own business in synthetic biology?

We would like to invite you to join us in Wageningen for an inspiring event focused on fostering collaborations in synthetic biology across the Netherlands. Whether you are an academic, entrepreneur, researcher, or industry professional, this event is your gateway to unlocking innovative partnerships and engaging projects. There will be interactive network sessions and keynotes by:

Stefania Usai from the BaSyC consortium

Jean-Paul Meijnen from Ginkgo Bioworks Netherlands

More speakers to be announced!

For early-career researchers and entrepreneurs, there is also the opportunity to share your research in a 5 minute flash talk! Are you working on a synthetic biology project? Whether it's a cutting-edge startup venture or an impactful PhD or PostDoc research project, we invite you to showcase your work and present your project in a 5-minute pitch to a diverse and engaged audience of academics, entrepreneurs and industry professionals.
