De Nederlandse Biotechnologische Vereniging (NBV) is dé beroepsvereniging van professionals werkzaam in de toegepaste Life Sciences. Een waardevol netwerk, waar alle 1000 leden afkomstig van universiteiten, hogescholen, onderzoeksinstituten, intermediaire organisaties, overheid of bedrijfsleven aan bijdragen.

From November 28-30 The Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO Chemical Sciences) and the KNCV organize the meeting CHemistry As INovating Science: CHAINS2011. Over 1.500 scientists from all disciplines, universities and business will come together at TheFabrique in Maarssen, near Utrecht.
The program for CHAINS2011 includes a full overview of present-day chemistry. Next to plenary lectures by keynote speakers there will be lectures in parallel sessions, poster sessions, and other activities. Please check www.chains2011.nl for more information. Together, three study groups of NWO-CW (Proteins, Nucleic Acids, Lipids& Biomembranes) and two societies (NBV and the NVBMB) have been asked to propose speakers for talks at this unique event.
