Young NBV workshop Negotiation and Convincing
Young NBV organizes a workshop for NBV members <35 during NBC-18. In this interactive workshop you will learn how you can convince and influence other people to go the direction you want or how to reach a consensus everyone is happy with.
After learning the theory of convincing and negotiation you will practice in small groups some relevant situations where negotiation is of importance.
Examples could be to negotiate a good salary when applying for a new job. Or to convince your PI of the direction your experiments should go. Or to convince someone who is really busy to prioritize the work he is doing for you.
Afterwards there will be an evaluation.
